-I’m an agricultural engineer by training, mechanical by occupation living in Northeastern Wisconsin
-I have been married to my beautiful, wonderful wife since 2005
-Our incredible and always entertaining daughter was born in the spring of 2007
-3rd child of Salvation Army missionaries to Germany
-Born in Germany, raised in 6 cities in 2 countries, with Milwaukee, WI ending up being considered “home”
-I have been, as an adult, a member of The Salvation Army and, briefly, a multi-site borderline ‘mega-church’
-The Salvation Army doctrine is based in Wesleyan/Methodist tradition (link is to basic Salvation Army membership document)

-I agree with Salvation Army doctrine but do not think it is adequately/completely defined
-My oldest sister is starting an Incarnational Living church in former East Germany (a neighborhood with 10,000 people and 1 church)
-My second sister teaches English to elementary school children in Taiwan
-The 3 groomsman at my wedding were: an inner-city black Salvationist (who attended bible college in Winnipeg, Canada), a Pakistani Muslim (Shia), and a suburban Greek Orthodox
-A few books I’m currently reading or have recently finished reading (I tend to misplace books, so I’m usually reading at least 3 at once):
